Description
Many of the lawmen we think of as heroes were anything but; many were scoundrels and outlaws themselves. Among all those, Bass Reeves stands tall. Reeves was the most successful federal marshall in the West. Born into slavery, once freed, he served the law in Indian Territory, where a man could lose his life on another man's whim.
